About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how alioca.com (the "Site") uses cookies and similar technologies. Alioca is a product of Hallridge Holdings LLC ("we", "us" or "our"). Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. Similar technologies include browser local storage and session storage, and requests your browser makes to third-party servers to load content such as fonts. Some cookies are essential for a site to work. Others are used for analytics or advertising. We keep our use to a minimum.

Our approach

The Site is built on WordPress and uses only the technologies described below. We do not use cookies for advertising, we do not use them to track you across other websites, and we do not use any analytics or tracking tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or tracking pixels.

Ordinary visitors are not given any cookies. When we checked the Site on 8 October 2026, visiting its public pages and loading the contact form did not set any cookies in the browser.

Because the Site uses only strictly necessary technologies, it does not currently show a cookie consent banner. Before we use any optional cookies, such as analytics, we will add a consent banner, update this policy and set those cookies only if you agree.

Browser storage used for all visitors

These items are strictly necessary for the Site to display and work properly. They contain no personal information and are not used for tracking.

  • wpEmojiSettingsSupports (session storage, set by WordPress): records whether your browser can display emoji, so that the check does not need to run on every page. It is deleted when you close the browser tab.
  • elementor (local storage, set by Elementor, the page builder used to design the Site): Elementor can save this entry when a page feature needs to remember its state, for example whether a popup has already been shown. The Site's pages do not currently use such features. If it is saved, it stays until you clear your browser storage.

Cookies for site administrators only

WordPress sets the following cookies only for site administrators who visit the login page or log in to manage the Site. They do not affect ordinary visitors.

  • wordpress_test_cookie: checks that the browser accepts cookies before logging in. It expires when the browser is closed.
  • wordpress_ and wordpress_sec_, each followed by a unique code: keep an administrator securely logged in. They expire when the browser is closed, or after 14 days if "Remember me" is selected.
  • wordpress_logged_in_ followed by a unique code: tells WordPress that an administrator is logged in. It expires when the browser is closed, or after 14 days if "Remember me" is selected.
  • wp-settings- and wp-settings-time-, each followed by the user's ID number: store an administrator's dashboard preferences. They expire after 1 year.

Contact form

Our contact form is provided by Fluent Forms. It collects your name, email address, a short description of what you are building, an optional budget range and your message so we can reply to you. Loading or using the form does not set any cookies. The form includes a hidden security code (a WordPress "nonce") that helps protect it against misuse. This code is part of the page, not a cookie, and it is strictly necessary to make the form work securely. How we handle what you submit is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party requests: fonts and emoji

To display the Site as designed, your browser may connect to these third-party servers:

  • Google Fonts: the Site's fonts are loaded from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google receives your IP address and basic browser information to deliver the fonts. Google states that Google Fonts does not set cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • WordPress.org: if your browser cannot display emoji itself, WordPress may load emoji images from WordPress.org's servers (s.w.org), which then receive your IP address and basic browser information.

The Site's icons, including Font Awesome and Elementor icons, are hosted on our own server, so loading them does not involve a third party.

These requests are needed to show the Site as designed. We do not use them for tracking or advertising.

How to control cookies

You can control and delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:

  • see which cookies are stored and delete them individually or all at once;
  • block cookies from particular sites or from third parties;
  • block all cookies;
  • delete all cookies and site data when you close the browser.

Your browser's help pages explain how to do this. If you block strictly necessary technologies, some parts of the Site may not work properly. You can also use browser extensions to block requests to third-party font servers, although the Site may then look different.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the technologies we use change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
